Today was a reminder that people don’t just need recipes. They need confidence.
Today was the first session of the Culinary Business Professional Program Founding Cohort, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
We talked business structure, pricing, professionalism, and what it truly means to operate as a culinary entrepreneur.
Then we stepped into the kitchen.
A few students admitted they didn’t like zucchini.
I simply asked them to keep an open mind and try one bite.
By the end of class, they were asking to take the leftovers home. 😊
The lesson wasn’t really about zucchini.
It was about being willing to learn, grow, and challenge assumptions.
One student became emotional.
Everyone stayed longer than planned.
And the conversations continued long after class ended.
My heart is full. What a privilege it is to pour into others the way so many have poured into me.
This is exactly why I created this program because I wish someon had handed me this roadmap when I started. Link in bio

Wow… seeing this moment in print is something I don’t take lightly.
Thank you to Henry Herald for capturing such a special milestone — the launch of Heartcrafted.
What started as a love for cooking has grown into something so much bigger… a way to connect, to share, and to leave something meaningful behind.
“Cooking is my love language”… and now it’s reaching even more hearts.
Truly grateful. ❤️

Restrictions don’t limit creativity — they invite it. A client asked for dessert that was low carb, sugar free, gluten and dairy free.
Instead of removing the experience… I rebuilt it.
Avocado lime custard
Fresh strawberries
Dairy-free whipped topping
Cinnamon-kissed taco shell
Restrictions don’t remove flavor.
They challenge you to build it differently.

For years, I’ve loved quietly maintaining my business as a private chef and caterer.
Loving curating menus, creating moments and cultivating relationships with those who have invited me into their kitchens, events and intimate gatherings.
And those memories always bring me the greatest joy.
But there’s another layer that has been slowly revealing itself.
Fifteen years ago, I said yes to cooking for 200 children when I didn’t feel ready.
That decision taught me something that elevated my life:
Your mindset scales before your skill does.
Since then, I haven’t just been cooking.
I’ve been building.
Building systems.
Building structure.
Building confidence.
And now… I step into forging relationships with fellow culinarians .
My passion isn’t only creating delicious meals.
It’s helping other chefs believe in themselves, build with intent, and grow sustainably.
So if you’re here for the food — welcome.
If you’re here to build — you’re in the right room.
This next season is about clarity.
Fewer spectators.
More builders.
Believe in you.
Build with intent.
Scale with clarity.
