1) Plan - Valentine's Day is right around the corner, start planning now! The sooner you start, the more likely you are to have your plans turn out the way you want without any delays. Also, check with your partner to make sure they're available, day and time.

2) Food - Pick a restaurant or order/prepare your partners' favorite food/dish. It shows that you pay attention to them.

3) Drinks - Make sure to purchase beverages from wine to tequila. Even if you plan to go out to eat, keep this for the nightcap. (For those who don't drink alcohol, you can find some delicious non-alcoholic recipes on Pinterest)

4) Gifts - When picking a gift, no matter how big or small, make sure it's meaningful. You want to use this as another opportunity to show you care enough to pay attention. Even flowers can be meaningful if you get their favorites.
