The Black Entertainment Economic Council invites you to attend our monthly free workshop conducted by seasoned professional Chet Brewster.  He will provide a mini master class on directing for a diverse array of projects, including film, television, live events, and live-to-tape productions.

Attendees will gain insight on the perspective of a director and will walk away with an official BEEC workshop certificate!

7 days ago, I was blessed to meet 60 years young. Thanks, mom and dad, for not giving up to have one more child. Thanks to my girlfriend for a surprise party that I truly did not see coming. She worked so hard to find my friends, coworkers, and family without my knowledge. Obviously, not everyone could come or even know about it. Shoot, obviously I could not have invited you! When people yelled, "Surprise!"I turned around to see who they were talking to.

I had to work on my birthday 🎂 3 days later(blessed) with colleagues who I consider family. We have been through life and death together. They surprised me with a cake!

I want to thank you all for making this the best birthday, so far, in my life! I thought it was going to be a small transition into the 60s with me working that birthday, but between my girlfriend, my brother and family, friends and colleagues who were either there at the surprise party, at work or via social media, texts or phone calls, I really love and appreciate you all!

Today/tonight made me extra happy and proud. Proud and happy for for her Co-executive producer debut of the new daytime talkshow SHERRI. Proud and happy for for directing debut of the new daytime talkshow starring Jennifer Hudson JHUD and this evening so proud and happy for director for her Emmy nomination for best director for a comedy series tonight at the (Emmys)! This is why I love what I do in the television and film industry. The friendships, the mentorships the relationships over years to always help keep me inspired and motivated to commit to my vision to continue the journey to succeed in this industry I feel I was born to work in. Congratulations to you all and continued success!🥂🍾👍🏾🎬🤩

Today on my birthday has given me the chance to be here another day to remember where I came from and look ahead as to where I am going. I always give thanks to Him for my blessings, health and for the many, many friends showing me love this 🎂! I love what I do as a director and love being an inspiration to those who have the same passion and love I do for film and television production. Let' keep moving forward!!! 🎬 🎥 🎞
