For 6 years I have been asking our friends at Josh.AI when they were going to include direct integration with RTI Control. They have avoided this task, and even as recently as a couple of months ago I was told this was not possible and wasn't on the roadmap. I completely understand why. It takes a lot of effort and time to ensure you are working properly with Control 4 and Crestron, and their resources have to be focused.
Well, I have a huge announcement to make for anyone that is currently using RTI as either the main control system or secondary control system at your company. With the amazing help of the Josh team and a couple of our fellow integrators, I have Josh working directly and reliably with RTI. No intensive R&D, no hours spent with the RTI engineers, no special rewriting of code, just a simple line of code and it works perfectly. It actually has been possible since 2019 and I am not sure why the Josh team didn't share it with us. I am not the first to do this but for some strange reason, it has been kept a secret.
I want to thank the Josh team for helping me through this process. Now I can spread the word and do my part to make sure the industry knows that Josh is one step closer to being agnostic when it comes to working with control systems. Have an amazing day my friends.
