We don’t share our baby’s name until after birth.
Not because we’re secretive.
Not because we want attention.
But because we don’t want opinions.
Names are personal. Names are meaningful. Names are ours.
Everyone has a suggestion, a critique, or a story about why a name “won’t work.”
And honestly? We don’t need it.
The first time our baby hears her name should be from us.
Not from strangers. Not from well meaning relatives. Not from anyone but her parents.
Some things are just ours to decide.
Our baby’s name is one of them. 💛
