Jeans are a hot topic these days! Gen Zers trying tell us what’s out, what’s cool. Then those asking who is even wearing jeans?!

I am 🙋🏾‍♀️ and mine are still skinny. Please don’t let the same kids who tried to eat Tide pods (sorry for the petty 🙇🏾‍♀️) dictate what we’re wearing! Don’t let ANYBODY tell you what you SHOULD be wearing. Wear what makes you feel good and what works for you!

You’re frickin magical no matter what kind of bottoms (if any, no judgment lol) you decide to put on!

Rest is ok, and definitely needed. Yesterday was and although I didn’t partake yesterday, my body was like “girl, take a nap” today 😩😂

With my (check out the highlight bubble) I’m not only working to be consistent, I’m also giving myself grace. You can do both. You don’t have to push yourself past rest in order to reach your goals. You can be a badass AND rest. It’s ok. It’s good, I promise!

Waist size
Waist size is a lie! Okay, that’s a little harsh and my grandma taught me it’s never kind to call someone a liar. Sooo let’s say, waist size is QUITE relative. It really is so inconsistent.

All these jeans are the same waist size, and the bottom three pair are by the same brand 🥴 You can clearly see they are not at all equal.

There are so many other things that determine fit besides the waist. If you remember we talked about the yoke, which makes them more curved or straight through hips. You also have to take into consideration the rise (where it rises to from the seat to your back), the inseam, down what the makeup of the denim is (stretch content).

So the next time you go to try on jeans, remember it’s them not you. They’re not taking YOU into consideration, the uniqueness of your body. And don’t let that number on the waistband mean anything about you! You are you, and that’s your magic! 💕✨👖
