I wrote this in January and completely forgot about it. But after a morning journaling session, I found it again—and I knew it was time to share.

Fear is loud. Fear is organized. Fear is working hard to convince us that it’s winning.

But that’s not the full story.

This piece is a reminder—to myself and to all of us—that even when things seem to be unraveling, we are still here. Still breathing. Still with work to do.

We get to create what comes next.

🚫 Contrary to what capitalist culture would have us believe, we are not here to be productive, exploited, or extracted from.

🌱 We are here to be human and thrive.

🔄 The exhaustion, burnout, and overwhelm can have us on a path of forever being a hamster on a wheel.

🌿 Making space for the natural rhythms and rituals that honor our bodies and unique ways of being returns us to the elements that support feelings of connectedness, creativity, and calm.

🌍 Our inner world creates our outer world. How we function and engage with ourselves, our lives, and our work directly impacts our ability to build the world we want to see.

💖 If we want a more humane and just world, we as individuals must include and lead with humanity.
