For Valentine’s Day I spent the evening with my honey and we ate gooooooddddd restaurant in downtown Detroit.

Chef prepared a five, FIVE course meal for us lovers in the room. A meal that was 100% vegan and 1000% delicious. It was accompanied by wine and champagne which was flowing all night. My soul was fed, my stomach was full and my love and I laughed all night. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend this beautiful holiday.

One thing about me, love is always on my mind. How can I love my partner better? How can I love myself more? How can I be a source of love and safety for others? It’s a lifelong journey of discovery and feedback.

I pray whether you were with someone or not, you felt loved…because you are 😘💕🥂

And yes I cut my hair off. 2026 will the year of new beginnings in many ways and we are starting off fresh and new with a cut.

This Thursday I have the amazing opportunity to speak at the first Hope for HS Detroit chapter meeting mid the year. I’m very excited to talk about my journey with HS and to founding my nonprofit The Association of Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Inflammatory Diseases.

If you’re living with HS in the city or in Michigan period, this would be a great opportunity to meet other HS warriors where you live. Community is foundational in our healing journeys and this is a great opportunity to build connections with people who know exactly what you’re going through.
