These bus drivers can lose their cool. We had our black female bus driver cutting up the same way. This is unfortunate. But there’s so many things systemically that create this type of behavior among my people in certain areas. And none of those things are an excuse. They are a symptom and the tools to heal are strategically out of reach. We gotta strategize to heal and survive this place with our soul in tact.

Discomfort isn’t the same as harm.

I don’t believe it’s our responsibility to make conversations about racism, discrimination, or inequality that we must have with the black collective online - comfortable for the people who aren’t living with these realities.
