Effective now, the National Association of REALTORS® has implemented significant changes in how members interact with buyers and sellers, particularly concerning compensation practices. The National Association of Realtors will require its members to enter into Buyer-Brokerage agreements, the equivalent of a listing agreement on the buyer's side. When I got my license 24 years ago, this was the SOP's normal business practice.
