I’m still early in my wedding photography journey, but moments like this confirm I’m on the right path. I’m building, refining my craft, and showing up consistently with faith, purpose, and intention. Being recognized at this stage is humbling, but it also reminds me that God is already opening doors ahead of time.

I’m not married yet, but I’ve learned enough to know this: marriage isn’t a finish line, it’s a responsibility.

I’m unlearning the idea that love fixes everything and embracing the truth that healing, accountability, and maturity are personal work. A wedding can be beautiful, but it won’t carry you through real life. Character will. Consistency will. Faith will.

Marriage doesn’t change patterns, it reveals them. That’s why alignment matters more than chemistry and why God can’t be an afterthought in something this sacred.

This isn’t about rushing to be chosen. It’s about becoming healthy enough to choose well and love well.
