Let’s provide a stimulus our senior citizens deserve. How do we do this? The legalization of recreational ma*****na and the resulting sales will
result in a 2% gross receipts tax, benefiting Atlantic City.

I propose that the money received from the taxes generated from ma*****na sales and distribution will be distributed to the senior citizens as stimulus checks twice yearly. One payment will be made in April, and the second payment will be received in October. There will be a residency requirement of two years.

All Atlantic City residents, especially our seniors, deserve to reap the rewards of new industry flowing into our economy.

It’s time for change and a fresh perspective. This is the way forward for Atlantic City.
