Looking for a CNC or Manual Machinist

Responsibilities:

-Make parts to specifications using a lathe, milling machine, shaper, and grinder.
-Measure, examine, and test completed units to find any defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.
-Set up, adjust, and operate specialized and advanced machine tools.
-Align and secure machine holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
-Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
-Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine the sequence of methods and operations necessary to fabricate products.
-Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to display the placement of cuts.
-Observe operating machines/equipment to diagnose malfunctions and make adjustments or repairs.
-Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment. Dismantle machines/equipment.
-Set controls to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
-Fit and assemble parts to make or repair tool machines.
-Set up and operate metalworking, brazing, heat-treating, welding, and cutting equipment.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to perform physical work for extended periods of time
-Ability to lift or move heavy objects
-Repeatedly perform physical operations, including pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, bending, stacking, and turning.
-Wearing Personal Protective Equipment: safety glasses and closed-toe shoes

Pay rate:

Depending on experience
