We had a great time celebrating America’s 250th birthday at Auburn’s 4th of July celebration at Les Gove Park.

Afterward, we headed home to keep the celebration going by firing up the smoker for burgers, hot dogs, and corn on the cob. A perfect way to spend the Fourth along with gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy.

It’s this weekend! Bring all your used glasses, prescription eyeglasses as well, to Fred Meyer Auburn. The Auburn Lions will be collecting them. They will all go to our Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. They will be sorted, cleaned, in some cases even re-ground so that thousands can see.

Great afternoon at Peter and the Wolf at the Auburn Performing Arts Center presented by the Auburn Symphony Orchestra and Children's Dance Theater.

The place was packed! A full house of families and kids enjoying live music together. Really cool to see so many people out supporting the arts.

Big thanks to everyone who helped make this free performance possible for Auburn families.
