Blue Line Pro Shop

The 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 are growing! We are seeking applications for a 𝟲𝗨 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱* and also a 𝟴𝗨 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱* who will both play a vital role alongside the 6U/8U Director to support the growth and success of the Maine Gladiators’ youngest players. Theses role focus on creating a fun, positive, and engaging environment that follows USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM), while promoting skill development, player confidence, recruitment, retention, and a lifelong love of the game.

𝟲𝗨 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 responsibilities include assisting with volunteer coach recruitment, helping organize and implement age-appropriate practice plans, supporting effective communication with families, and fostering strong player retention. The 6U Lead is also expected to serve as a welcoming presence for players and parents by being available at least 45 minutes prior to each session to assist with questions, provide guidance, and help ensure a smooth start to all on-ice activities.

𝟴𝗨 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 responsibilities include assisting with player evaluations to help place athletes in appropriate groups based on skill level, ensuring balanced competition and meaningful development opportunities. The 8U Lead also supports coach mentorship, skill-based practice planning, and the creation of a fun, encouraging, and low-pressure environment where young players can build confidence, develop fundamental hockey skills, and foster a lifelong love for the game.
