Adopt Peanut Butter!

Peanut Butter is a big, beautiful girl who is still learning about the world around her. It’s clear she didn’t get much socialization with people or other dogs before coming into our care, so many things in life are still new to her. Despite that, Peanut Butter is making progress every day as she learns that people can be kind and that new experiences can be fun.

Peanut Butter has unfortunately been let down twice before, when people underestimated just how much energy a young dog like her has. She’s an active girl who needs room to move, play, and burn off that youthful energy. With the right outlet and a little patience, she truly shines.

As she continues to grow in confidence, Peanut Butter is learning how to socialize with new people and other dogs, helping her build the skills she needs for a happy, balanced life. She will do best with an adopter who understands that she’s still learning and is willing to guide her with structure, patience, and encouragement.

The BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty The Shelters National Adoption Event starts today! Through BISSELL, a reduced adoption fee of $0 is applicable to all altered animals from July 5-26th. We are so thankful for BISSELL's work!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, our Summer of Second Chances campaign is continuing to grow!

🎉 We've now raised $55,564.46 toward our $75,000 goal—that's 72% of the way there! Every donation helps provide food, medical care, enrichment, shelter, and lifesaving support for homeless pets in our care.

This week, we're shining the spotlight on three amazing members of our Lonely Hearts Club:

🐾 Mayson – A lovable adventurer who enjoys hiking and swimming. After more than two years at the shelter, he's ready to find an active family to call his own.
🐾 Asha – A cheerful, social sweetheart who loves people, other dogs, and exploring new trails with her favorite humans.

🐾 Chrysa – A gentle, affectionate girl who loves cuddles, attention, and a game of fetch. She's patiently waiting for the forever family she's always deserved.

Our Lonely Hearts Club features pets who have been waiting the longest for homes, and their adoption fees have been reduced to help them start their next chapter.
