• Manage the administrative and customer service functions of the Service Department
• Create schedules, delegate work and train new employees
• Organize, coordinate and schedule all scheduled maintenance, replacement and customer service work orders
• Maintain open and positive communication (both in verbal and written form) with employees, departments, customers, and vendors
• Maintain appropriate staffing level and workload distribution to meet customer and business needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and recommend policy changes as needed
• Responsible for the efficient operation of the Service Department and expense control
• Proactive and reactive management of all service personnel including hiring, training, motivation, career development, reviews, and safety
• Organize and present at monthly meetings
• Perform annual merit reviews and development planning for service personnel
• Analyze service productivity and recommend changes to improve customer service and profitability
• Maintain high quality service delivery in an efficient, productive and profitable manner
• Assist or assign assistance for technician on accounts to ensure work quality
• Other duties as required

Innovative Systems is a growing company offering essential services to our customers. We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Service Electrician. The ideal candidate is diligent and able to think of creative solutions. They will also have strong communication abilities so that they can effectively walk through an issue with the customer without confusing them with technical jargon.

In this role, you will be fixing up commercial & residential (Apartment Unit) electrical systems. You will provide them with the 5-star customer service that we are known for, and we will provide you with ongoing training to do so.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain communication with dispatcher, your manager, parts, and installation teams
Keep your company truck clean, inside and out
Keep your truck inventory up to date
Properly complete paperwork
Join the on-call rotation
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Have and maintain a clean driving record
Participate in training to grow and develop as a professional
Have or be willing to get the proper certifications – we can help you with this

Requirements

Journeyman Electrician, 01 or 02 (or Apprentice Electrician)
Physically able to lift heavy objects if needed

Qualifications:
Electrical Trainee License
Fire alarm experience
Construction experience in field
NICET I (preferred)
Individuals who are career oriented with strong leadership skills and the desire to grow into an 06 or 01 journey level electrician
Please note: our main office is located in Auburn, but many of our projects are located in Seattle. Employees would carpool to the jobsite wherever possible with their journeyman.
