Craft time is always such a special time at the park because it brings families together for some quality time where everyone receives their craft kit and gets to make a family Summer vacation Memory keepsake to take home and put on a shelf to remember the special camping time together for years to come children and grandchildren looking back and being able to say “ these were the days” that were special.
There is an elegant simplicity to the craft times we have at the park each week for both individuals, families and both the young and young at heart that come together at the craft tables in the Island Pavillion to express their talents and tastes in wood crafts and painting.
There is no additional charge for crafts at the park it is included in your stay so all you have to do is show up. Every Summer Saturday we have Craft hour usually at 2pm and that gives a good break from the pools during the heat of the day, many families plan their Summer lunches at the park around getting out of the heat for a moment and taking a break from the Lazy River or Ocean Pool to come together for these
special moments.
We usually do a mid week Summer Memory Rock painting and then a themed wood craft on Saturdays and this weeks Saturday Craft was “Sailing into Summer” with everyone putting together and painting wooden sailboats.
