Semper Fi Dinner marks the culmination of a year of challenges, growth, and commitment within our Marine Platoon. A proud tradition where each senior selects an underclassman to design and present a sledgehammer—symbolizing their time in Auburn and Tuskegee NROTC. This tradition honors Eugene Sledge, an Auburn Alumni, a US Marine, and the legacy he left behind.

MIDN 1/C Maita is from Mandeville, Louisiana and majors in Aviation Management. Outside of NROTC, he enjoys staying active through sports, fishing, and traveling.
