🎹 Have you ever noticed that the lowest strings inside a piano are wrapped in copper?

It's not just for looks—it's actually one of the smartest pieces of engineering inside the entire instrument.

Those deep, rich bass notes require much heavier strings. If manufacturers used plain steel, the lowest strings would need to be over 20 feet long!

Instead, they wrap a steel core with pure copper, adding the weight needed to create those beautiful low notes while keeping the strings at a practical length.

Family businesses are a little different around here… 💙🎹🚚

At Turner’s Keyboards, the summer you turn 15… you start working! 😄

Breanna, our oldest, has already been part of the family business for a couple of years helping in the office, and now it’s Aiden’s turn to officially join the crew this summer!

Pictured here: Morgan, Aiden, and Skylar ready to tackle another day with the truck. Piano moves, deliveries, warehouse work… learning the ropes starts early around here!

As a family business that’s been around since 1955, it’s pretty special watching the 4th generation slowly start learning the business. Breanna and Aiden may be just getting started, but seeing them step into the Turner’s story means more than we can put into words.

Family has always been a big part of what makes Turner’s, Turner’s, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
