Half the battle is looking the part. After that, just sound confident and someone out there will buy anything you’re selling.

Digital and media literacy is just as important as financial literacy and mental health awareness. The , and algorithms are designed to propagate those who speak the loudest, most often and with the most shock value.

That doesn’t have to be the case. It’s a conscious decision tech board members make in order to increase profits knowing it’s making us worse off as a society. What can you do? It starts with awareness.

Everytime you like, react or engage with an account or profile you’re contributing to the digital archives of history. The algorithms will feed you more of what you react to good, bad or ugly. Look at each engagement as a grain of sand in an hour glass that you’re filling up. Fill it up with good grains.

The informationsphere doesn’t have to be this way, but until those lining their pockets decide to change it, it starts with us.
