Science vs. Roe v Wade
Abortion News
Follow the Science?
50 years ago 7 men on the U. S. Supreme Court decided a baby not born yet is not a person, but science now says otherwise. What was unknown 50 years ago is no longer unknown. It is common knowledge now that a baby before birth is not just piece of tissue.
50 years ago there were no ultrasound machines so parents and doctors could watch their developing babies, and parents were not carrying around ultrasound photos of them. Parents didn’t even know until birth whether the baby was a girl or a boy. There were no home pregnancy tests, Internet, cell phones, flat screen TVs, electric cars, video games, satellite TV, streaming media, Wi-Fi, etc.; and understanding DNA was in its infancy.
50 Years Later
Now we have all of the above and much more, especially when it comes to the scientific facts about unborn babies. We now know that life begins at conception and that the DNA of the parents have created a totally unique new individual who has never existed before and never will again. The traits of the parents are passed on and determine the hair, eyes, and skin colors, the configuration of the face and body, and even aspects of intelligence and temperament.
The baby’s heartbeat can be detected just 18 days after conception, and brain waves can be measured in just 40 days. By the 9th and 10th week the baby’s body is sensitive to touch and pain. By the 12th week he or she has the facial characteristics of the parents and fingerprints that will be his lifetime identity. From this point on the only change will be an increase in size.
What Did Roe v. Wade Do?
Prior to Roe v. Wade the American Medical Association had urged state legislatures to pass laws to protect unborn children and prohibit abortion simply based upon the knowledge of conception, and this was done in every state.
But 50 years ago the majority of 7 Supreme Court Justices’ opinion was that legal personhood does not exist prenatally, and this struck down all state laws restricting abortion.
For the last 50 years the United States has been one of only 7 countries in the world that allow abortion up to the moment of birth. The remaining 188 countries either limit or completely ban abortion. Sadly the United States is in the company of China and North Korea in this, countries that are known for their horrific human rights violations.
Is It Time to Reverse the Decision of 7 Men from 50 Years Ago?
Is it time to follow the science?

Disposable Girls in the World Today
Why have girls always been so disposable and why has it been allowed – even acceptable? From forced marriages, physical abuse, s*x trafficking, and even abortions for s*x selection, always wanting a boy instead of a girl.
This has been going on since the world began, but why is it still tolerated in 2021?
Disposable Girls in Afghanistan
The most obvious spotlight today is on girls of Afghanistan. When President Biden hastily removed U.S. troops from Afghanistan, this not only left many Americans and Afghanistan people who had helped the U.S. behind, but it left the women and girls of Afghanistan completely unprotected from the Taliban and their sharia law. The Taliban immediately told U.S. officials, “Don’t interfere with our treatment of women.”
Before the U.S. occupied Afghanistan 20 years ago, sharia law permitted grotesque treatment of women. Women were flogged in the street if an inch of skin showed under their burqa or if a girl was spotted trying to study. If a woman was only accused of adultery, she was stoned to death. A young girl’s finger was chopped off because she wore nail polish. Women were not allowed to go to school and were only allowed out with a male relative to accompany them.
This all changed when the U.S. troops were present. An entire generation of young women have been growing up going to school and having the same rights we all have. Since the removal of U.S. troops , however, there is a terrifying rampage of Taliban fighters going door to door to round up girls as young as 12 for s*x slaves. When the Taliban came to one village to take a young girl, she jumped from the roof of her house and ended her life rather than go with them. Taliban commanders have ordered lists of unmarried women 12 to 45 for their soldiers as they view them as “spoils of war” to be divided up among the victors.
Several press reports have surfaced about the Taliban coming to the door of one family and tying up the family members while they beat the pregnant mother who had worked with the Americans. She was beaten beyond recognition and then shot in the head in front of her husband and children.
These girls and women are desperate to get out of the country, but the U.S. government has made no provision for them.
Disposable Girls at our Southern Border
Meanwhile disposable girls are arriving at our southern border trying to escape from socialist and communist countries in Central America. Parents are paying the criminal Mexican Cartel thousands of dollars to bring them to the U.S. border. Sadly, the trip is not only physically demanding, it is very dangerous for girls being subjected to r**e and s*xual abuse. In fact, mothers have given their daughters birth control pills because of this.
Reaching the U.S., however, does not mean they are free. Many are kidnapped into s*x slavery. They are told that if they don’t cooperate, their families back home will be killed. Where is the outrage?
Disposable Girls in China
Several decades ago China established a one-child policy for all families to control their population. Since parents valued sons higher than daughters, this resulted in s*x selection abortionss and infanticide for girl babies, and huge fines if more than one child was born when the first was a girl. As decades passed the end result was Chinese men without enough Chinese girls to marry, ultimately resulting in the elimination of the one-child policy.
Disposable Girls in European and Asian Countries
Because of the preference of fathers for male children over female, s*x selection abortions have been rampant in many countries. Although India prohibits prenatal testing to determine the s*x of a baby because s*x selection abortions were so numerous, one woman went to the police because her husband had forced her to abort eight unborn daughters.
Contrary to what some might think, this is not in the poor communities. It is most prevalent in the affluent areas. The ratio of boys to girls in Delhi was 1,000 to 896, and according to research estimates between 1987 and 2016 13.5 million girls were aborted through s*x selection.
A report published by the United Nations Population Fund in July, 2020, states:
The preference for sons over daughters may be so pronounced in
some societies that couples will go to great lengths to avoid
giving birth to a girl or will fail to care for the health and well-
being of a daughter they already have in favour of their son.
Are There Disposable Girls in the USA?
Are there disposable girls in the USA? Sadly, yes! Out of our 50 states only 11 states have banned s*x selection abortions, so there are 39 states which do not prohibit this s*x selection procedure.
In most people’s minds the USA has been a champion of women’s rights but not when it comes to a girl’s right to be born and not disposed of simply because she is a girl.
Where is the World’s Outrage Over These Disposable Girls?
We see it in the news. We know it’s happening. We say how terrible it is, but what do we do about it? Where are the women and feminists who fought for women’s rights? Isn’t the right to live and live safely more important than all other rights? Where is the outcry over these disposable girls?

Aborted Paralympian
Abortion News
Ernie Gawilan survived being aborted and went on to win a Gold Medal as a champion swimmer in the Asian Para Games in 2018. There are many back stories in the Paralympics, but Ernie’s is unique in how he came into the world.
His life story is nothing short of amazing. Through all of his difficulties he went on to be the first Fillipino to win a Gold Medal in 2018. In the 2021 Paralympics he carried his country’s flag in the closing ceremony, although he was not on the winner’s stage this time.
An Abortion Survivor’s Story
Ernie survived an abortion, but he lost most of his legs and part of his left arm. Ernie’s mother sought an abortion to hide her pregnancy. When he survived, his father abandoned him, and then his mother died of cholera when he was only five months old. When everything looked the bleakest his grandparents took him in. Life was never easy, however, as children bullied him and mocked his appearance.
Then when he was nine a businessman noticed Ernie and arranged for him to go to a center for children with disabilities. That’s when he discovered how being in the water made him feel “normal.”
The Turning Point for This Abortion Survivor
With the support from swimming coaches, family, and friends along the way, Ernie began to compete; and his swimming career took off, winning many medals around the world. Ernie changed from being embarrassed about his appearance and blaming God for being unloved and alone to reminding others that there is a purpose for us in this world. He even jokes now about his abortion saying, “I must have been a good swimmer even in my mother’s womb because I survived the abortion. I just swam.”
How Society Looks at Abortion Survivors
Are you uncomfortable looking at Ernie’s picture? Everyone should be because it makes people uncomfortable to actually see the results of an abortion on another human being. In most of the photos taken of Ernie after his many victories, he is only shown from the waist up. Why? So people won’t feel uncomfortable and see this reality.
Other Abortion Survivors Are Speaking Up
Other abortion survivors are not celebrities like Ernie, but they are now organizing and speaking up to reveal this very uncomfortable truth. The Abortion Survivors Network recently held a retreat. There were survivors of all different kinds of abortions – saline abortions, D & C abortions, vacuum suction abortions, pre-term induction abortions, etc. Many of these victims of abortion have met with the same rejection by society as Ernie, and they are now sending the message that “they belong” and society needs to rethink it’s view of abortion.
