This will vary from person to person depending on your needs. I find that guests prefer individual seating in my home versus sitting on top of us on our small sectional. If that’s the case, opt for accent chairs that will be extra comfy, but be sure that it contrasts the base of your couch. For instance, if you have a couch with taller legs, you can afford closed based, visually heavier accent chairs and vice versa, but never should both couch and accent chairs be closed base in a small space because it will add visual weight. If a smaller couch and chairs isn’t for you, opt for a smaller scale sectional with tall legs. Keep the same in mind when buying a coffee table. The more open it is, the lighter the space will feel. One of the places I tackled this Weekend was the kid’s bedroom. Since they’ve been home from school and spend much time here amidst studying, playing, snacking and all, It was time to deep clean. I let them do their regular cleaning but prefer to deep clean myself atleast once a month. Wet vacuuming their bed frames helps get rid of dirt and dust while using baking soda & some essential oil helps refresh and make the bed smell amazing.
