Are you or someone you know or work with concerned about the immigration changes that may be coming under the new president's administration? The Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) will be hosting a free community information session on "What Immigrants Need to Know Right Now." Participants will hear from a panel of immigration law experts about what non-citizens living in Maine can do to protect themselves and their families right now, especially in the context of the incoming administration. DATE: Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 from 5:30-6:30 PM at the Rines Auditorium, Portland Public Library (5 Monument Square, Portland). Registration is not required, but space is limited.
