We ate the carrots last night, and I'm absolutely not one to rave about those things, but let me tell you, they were sooooo sweet and tender, it felt weirdly decadent. It also felt good because my body craves, deserves & needs quality nutrients.

Everything sold there is grown organically and sustainably - no harmful pesticides, only proven gardening solutions that naturally stave off pests and prevent bacterial growth. If health is high on your priority list, ALG should be your go-to source for all the local things. If local farms are important to you, ALG should be your go-to source.

Which is why I'm slightly weirded out by how few people in our area are shopping from the online market, or showing up to the in-person markets like this one. Especially with the activity we're seeing at a federal level, now is truly the time to bolster the local economy and support local farmers by ACTUALLY BUYING FROM THEM πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ It's not rocket science.

But hey, let's celebrate a new Trader Joe's, right?

Lol just me perpetually confounded by human behavior πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ I see folks from Evans, Martinez, Grovetown & Augusta online every single day asking where they can find local honey, beef tallow, eggs, grass-fed beef, and literally all the things offered by Augusta Locally Grown. So yeah, I am a little confused. I'd love to hear from anyone who has some feedback on the topic. Please feel free to take a look at the market and share your thoughts in the comments 🫢🏽

Also, just fyi I have had some of the most delicious bread, cookies, muffins, pies and cake from the market, and seriously urge you to treat yourself to at least one item when you shop. Seriously. Do it.

Guess I'm sharing this purely because I love this place, and I couldn't be happier when I'm out here. ✨ Bonus points, it's full of amazing people.

Thanks to life in general, I needed to touch grass, literally. Sometimes I need things to slow down.

Truly, being out here helps me so much. To feel gratitude, but also to be at peace. I grew up in a rural area of the UK, I miss the sense of calm it brought me - even though this environment is wildly different, the feeling isn't.

Next time, I'll get a mic out so you can hear all the birds, and chicks and things πŸ₯° but there's no way to share the fresh air, or the smell of soil.

🌞 Context -- NONE of this was here before last summer. I'm seeing this place come to life.

How lucky am I?! What a beautiful location to work with people focused on providing a real connection to our local food supply & supporting wellness in our community.

Absolutely wonderful. Filled my cup 🫢🏽
