✨️Gray Softening✨️

In this particular case-
🚨Problem: Root touch ups every 5 weeks. Harsh, noticeable gray stripe just a couple weeks after coloring. She previously had a ton of highlights done for "gray blending", but it never got light enough to blend into the gray, and left it horribly damaged. So she ended up just having it colored dark again.

💡Solution: I used a color that leaves her natural dark hair untouched, and ONLY deposits color onto the gray. We used a medium brown color this time, (not trying to match the previous black) just to soften the gray regrowth.
Next time, we will use a lighter color for her roots so as her gray grows in, there is a much less stark difference between the super light gray, and the super dark ends.
This completely covers the grays, and makes a gradually softer growout while we continue to let the black permanent grow out and get trimmed off over time.
