Nothing beats a day on the water with great people and great company.
Today, residents from Aaron’s House, Scott’s House, and Megan’s House had the opportunity to get out on the lake, enjoy some sunshine, go boating, and ride jet skis. Recovery is about more than just staying sober—it’s about rebuilding lives, creating healthy memories, developing meaningful relationships, and learning how to enjoy life again.
We are grateful for the staff, supporters, and community members who help make days like this possible. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and camaraderie reminds us why we do what we do every day.
One day at a time. One person at a time. One recovery at a time. ❤️

Today the women of Housing FGC had the opportunity to spend time at a local horse farm, lending a helping hand and giving back to the community. From working around the farm to spending time with the horses, it was a great experience filled with teamwork, responsibility, and recovery in action.
Experiences like these remind us how important connection, purpose, and community involvement are in the recovery journey. We are proud of the women in our program for showing up with positive attitudes and willing hearts.
Thank you to Sarah for allowing us to come help.

Today, our residents had the opportunity to give back to the community by helping the American Legion put up flags in honor of those who have served our country. 🇺🇸
Acts of service like this are a powerful reminder that recovery is not only about rebuilding our own lives, but also about becoming active and positive members of the community around us. We are incredibly proud of everyone who participated and grateful to the American Legion for allowing us to be a part of something so meaningful.
Thank you to all veterans and fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️

We’re incredibly honored and grateful to share that Housing FGC has been awarded funding through the Rural Recovery Residence Expansion Program, made possible by the Maine Association of Recovery Residences (MARR).
This funding will directly support the development of a new sober living home in Franklin County—bringing safe, structured, and recovery-focused housing to an area where these resources are critically needed.
This isn’t just about opening another house. It’s about creating opportunity—giving individuals a real chance to rebuild their lives, find stability, and grow within a supportive community.
We want to sincerely thank MARR for believing in our mission, and our team and community who continue to stand behind the work we’re doing every day.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited for what’s ahead.
More updates coming soon.
