NEW: Our Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit has RESCUED 11 MISSING CHILDREN as a result of Operation “Coast to Coast,” a nationwide effort to locate victims, arrest traffickers, and seize criminals assets.

Along with our team, more than 250 law enforcement agencies from over 30 states participated in this year’s initiative — mobilizing simultaneously Thursday to execute one of the largest anti-human trafficking operations in the United States.

Overall, more than 150 victims were identified across the country.

We want to thank all of our partners here in Georgia: the Georgia Department of Human Services Special Investigations Unit, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the Atlanta Police Department, the Cobb County Police Department, the DeKalb County Police Department, the Gwinnett County Police Department, the Marietta Police Department, the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Child Protection Task Force, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and Delta Airlines.

But our work doesn’t stop now. We’ll keep fighting until every child is safe and every predator is behind bars.
