Looking for a Civil Engineer with 1 to 2 years experience (BS required). We are also looking for an experienced CAD Tech with Civil 3D experience in the civil engineering land development arena.

MeritCorp is hiring a Project Coordinator at our Aurora firm located in Meridian Business Park, off Rt 59, in Aurora, Illinois (walking distance from Naperville train station).

Job Description:
1. Conduct research on potential new projects, create location map, aerial exhibit, identify zoning and natural resources that may impact development.
1. Assist with proposal preparation.
2. Assist project managers and external consultants with scheduling and coordinating on projects.
3. Assist coordinating with clients.
4. Maintain project manager's calendars.
5. Assist writing letters and transmittals, preparing and assembling reports, publishing plans, preparing specification manuals, and filling out permit applications.
6. Assist preparing project submittal packages to clients, city, county, state and governmental agencies.
7. Assist with monthly collections calls.
8. Assist with marketing and job fair events.
9. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Required skills: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Xcel, Adobe (or BlueBeam), strong organization skills, strong communication skills (verbal and written), basic math, self-starter and social personality.

Hours: 9 am to 5 pm (30 to 40 hours/week).
Benefits: Blue Cross medical/dental/optical, paid time off, & 401K match, mileage reimbursement,
Wages: $20-25/hr to start (depending on experience) and time and 1/2 for over 40 hrs worked with a week.
