After months of planning, rehearsing, dreaming, and building, CabarSlay: Uplifting Q***r Voices takes the stage tonight.
We're incredibly proud of this cast, our volunteers, our vendors, and everyone who has helped make Stagecraft Collective Theatre's first production possible.
If you've been thinking about coming, there is still time to grab a ticket and join us for an evening of music, storytelling, community, raffles, concessions, and celebration.

Meet Shynell Owen (She/Her)
Certain performers light up a room the moment they walk into it.
We're thrilled to welcome Shynell to the CabarSlay cast and can't wait for them to share their talents with our audience.
"Shynell has had the incredible honor of being a finalist for national Broadway tours of Cats, Joseph, Moving Out, and Wicked, the privilege of choreographing over 20 productions throughout the Midwest, and the blessing of performing many notable roles, including her favorites: Cassie (A Chorus Line), Mayzie (Seussical), Mimi (RENT), and Smitty (How To Succeed). Shynell expresses her utmost gratitude to her friends and family for all their love and support."
We're grateful they're sharing their talents with us and can't wait for audiences to experience what they bring to the stage.

Meet Kate Loeffler (she/her)
Our cast is made up of some truly incredible people, and today we're excited to spotlight Kate.
Whether this is your first time seeing them perform or you've seen them on stage before, you're in for a treat.
"Kate is excited to be part of CabarSlay! Kate is an elementary music teacher and professional singer, and loves all things Disney and musicals. She has been a performer, assistant producer, and childrens’ program co-director with Little Mountain Community Theatre, and she has also been on stage & behind the scenes at Wheaton Drama and Summer Place. Favorite roles include Piggy #1 (“Shrek”), Alice Beinecke (“The Addams Family”), ensemble of “Godspell,” and Maud Dunlop (“The Music Man”)."
We're grateful they're sharing their talents with us and can't wait for audiences to experience what they bring to the stage.

The countdown is on.
In just a few days, Stagecraft Collective Theatre will present CabarSlay: Uplifting Q***r Voices — an evening of music, storytelling, laughter, celebration, and community.
Featuring a talented lineup of performers from across the Chicagoland theatre community, CabarSlay is more than a performance. It’s an opportunity to gather, celebrate Pride, support local artists, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
We’re also honored to partner with Youth Outlook, with a portion of proceeds helping support LGBTQ+ youth and their families throughout Illinois.

Stagecraft Collective is proud to partner with Youth Outlook, whose mission is to support LGBTQ+ youth through advocacy, education, counseling, and safe community spaces.
Their work changes lives, and we're honored to help shine a light on their mission during Pride Month. A portion of the proceeds from CabarSlay will benefit Youth Outlook and the young people they serve.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Stagecraft Collective Holiday Fundraiser this past weekend and helped make the day so special. Your support and holiday spirit truly meant the world to us.
We are incredibly grateful to our amazing volunteers for making everything run smoothly, and to Broadway Droputs for their hilarious improv performance that brought so much laughter to the afternoon.
A big thank you to Santa for spreading cheer and making the day magical for all the kiddos! 🎅✨
