We are excited to share that Sonyashnyk will be participating in the 68th Anniversary of the San Antonio Folklife and Dance Festival Performances.
This wonderful event celebrates the incredible cultural diversity of San Antonio by bringing together dance groups, performers and cultural organizations from many traditions around the world. The festival was created to help fill the gap in international cultural presentations, and each year it continues to grow by welcoming new groups and showcasing vibrant heritage through music, dance, and activities for all ages.
We are grateful to the SA Folkfest organizers for trusting Sonyashnyk to help share the beauty of Ukrainian culture and traditions through our performances. It is always an honor for us to represent Ukraine and bring the energy, color and spirit of Ukrainian folk dance to new audiences. 🇺🇦

On February 22, at the charity evening We Are Ukraine has prepared a new contemporary dance piece. It is a performance about lived experiences, inner pain, and the journey through trials. Yet by the end, it will leave you with a feeling of light and hope for a better future.
