Reset 2 — 300 million people. Nowruz — the Persian New Year — has been celebrated on the spring equinox for over 3,000 years. It is the official New Year in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Kurdish communities worldwide. The word Nowruz means "New Day" in Persian. It is the most widely celebrated New Year tied directly to an astronomical event. Tomorrow marks the first day of the year 1405 on the Solar Hijri calendar.

Reset 3 — Mercury. Since February 26, Mercury has appeared to travel backward across the sky as seen from Earth — a perspective effect caused by the geometry of Mercury's faster inner orbit overtaking Earth. Tomorrow, Mercury stations direct — it reaches the point in its orbit where its apparent backward motion ends and forward motion resumes. The 23-day apparent retrograde cycle closes.
