The Bead Project is a non-profit jewelry & gifts brand that is empowering women in Northern Uganda.
Glass beads are quite the process. 🤍
This is part of how our glass beads are made in Uganda! 🇺🇬 They have just been pulled out of the oven and are being reinforced in the middle to widen the bead hole, then left to cool and harden.
After they dry, they'll be placed in the rock tumbler for a week to smooth the glass and make it ready for beading. How cool is this! 😎
