I sat on this all night. We all know films are created in fiction, based off of some facts. But the people in the films are real. The impact they have on people are real. Some of our favorite films will shape our thoughts more than some real life experiences. This one hit too close for me. He was 43, and no one really knew what he was dealing with. Outside of his family that is. Not only was he a great actor, but he was a family man, a black man. A man that gave the black community a well needed hero in a time where we didn't even know was needed. Black panther change a lot of us internally, people will say it is just a film. They will say it is fiction. But, we got to see a black man on the big screen. Not only depicted as royalty, but a hero that the entire world looked to for help. This changed us, he changed us and every young black chilled of this generation and everyone to come hereafter. Losing another hero all too soon, yet again. This too has changed us.

The journey is not easy. The lessons never come with the answers, and life can throw a mean curve ball. Yet, here I stand. Change is uncomfortable, growth can be painful. But Life is worth it.
