Suddenly, an angel opened his wings

And alighted in front of me

Bright eyes, bright smile

The sweetness of his presence made me tremble

The truth in his smile almost made me cry

His presence, full of emotion and brightness

Almost made me crumble

In that moment my entire gaze was his

I’ve never seen such tenderness

I’ve never seen such truth

I’ve never seen a kind of sweet creature

Barely knew me, barely knew my name

Was capable of immediate openness and connection

As if we were old friends

As if we were children of the same dawn

As if we were newborns

Pure, curious about life, naked

And suddenly growing like men

Still naked

And finally, attractive

Breaking the silence about it

Even it’s being a sin

Let’s talk about this angel’s beauty

A mesmerizing smile

A sweet and charming way of speaking

Beautiful accent, beautiful voice, beautiful smile

Beautiful feathers and wings

I confessed I almost fell in love with him

He reminded me, it’s forbidden

I wouldn’t have the chance to fall in love with him

As an angel, he could never love me the way I wanted

He could never love me back that way…

Eventually we found a way to love
