🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

This Pride Month, we are celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Austin and Travis County, while reaffirming our unwavering commitment to providing trauma-informed, inclusive care to ALL survivors.

S*xual assault can affect anyone, but LGBTQ+ individuals often face unique barriers to seeking help. We want you to know: You are NOT alone, your identity is valid, and you deserve a safe and supportive space to heal.

Our multidisciplinary team—from law enforcement and medical forensic nurses to advocates and counselors—is united in providing compassionate, affirming support.

Throughout May and June, we will be highlighting the incredible organizations and agencies that partner with the Austin/Travis County S*xual Assault Response and Resource Team (SARRT). From advocacy and legal support to medical care and beyond, each partner plays a critical role in supporting survivors.
This series is designed to help guide survivors and inform community members who may be unsure of what to do next, where to go, or what options are available. By sharing more about each partner and the services they provide, we hope to make these resources more visible, accessible, and easier to navigate.

We are saddened by the closing of Eloise House, and grateful for our partners at Brave Alliance, Ascension, st.Davids hospital, APD, and all others who have stepped up to support survivors.
If you have experienced sexual assault and have medical, legal or safety concerns you can get help without reporting to the police.
You are NOT alone.
