Having over two decades of experience playing bluegrass music, Jacob Roberts has performed at countless shows and festivals across Texas.


He has previously played with several bands including Robertson County Line, The Brushy Mountain Bluegrass Boys, Boomtown Bluegrass, and Little Creek. While living in Lubbock, TX, he spent time under the instruction of Joe Carr (The Country Gazette) and has appeared in Flatpick Guitar Magazine.


With the Prime Time Ramblers, Jacob plays upright bass and provides occasional vocals. He now makes his home in Garfield, TX. When he's not playing music, Jacob also likes spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Greetings from The Prime Time Ramblers! While we were eagerly looking forward to our upcoming performance in Pearl this week, unforeseen circumstances have come up that unfortunately prevent us from making it.

But don't worry, we will catch you all at the next opportunity! In the meantime, we want to encourage you to continue your love and support for Pearl bluegrass. The community's enthusiasm for this genre is truly infectious, and we are grateful to be a part of it.

So, grab your instruments, put on your dancing shoes, and come out to enjoy the vibrant bluegrass scene in Pearl. We'll be right there with you in spirit, and can't wait to make up for this missed show with an even better performance next time!

We had a great time at Oakdale Park on Saturday! Thanks to everyone who showed up, it was wonderful to meet all of you amazing folks. This event is every 3rd Saturday of the month. So be sure to show up for some good bluegrass!

Today, on International Women's Day, we extend our warmest wishes to Celebrindal Roberts - our incredibly talented and wonderful fiddle player. Her contribution to our band is invaluable, and we are truly grateful to have her as a part of our team!
