PubInvCon (Public Invention Convention) 2026 is just around the corner! The in-person event will take place in the Austin Central Library from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on June 13th. We will feature speakers from NASA and KidsOR while also demoing current projects. Partner organizations such as EWB, Assembly Makerspace, and the Center for Open Science will also be present through either speakers or tables. Come learn more about the open-source movement and how to get involved!
Register through Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/public-inventioncon-2026-registration-1985257063318?aff=erellivmlt
Public Invention is also recruiting on-the-ground volunteers for the event. If you are interested in social media, photography, supporting the registration table or event logistics, contact Miriam Castillo through the Volunteer page: https://www.pubinv.org/volunteer/.
We look forward to seeing you there!
