Hi all, a reminder that on 2/1/2022 at 7pm Central, there will be a zoom meeting with X-Camp Academy. X-Camp is based out of the Bay Area, the highest competitive tech community, with the curriculum developed to offer students to achieve success at all levels of competition and beyond. X-Camp Academy is only recently branching out to the Austin area.
Unlike other piecemeal coding classes on the internet, X-Camp Academy provides a systematic curriculum to provide college level CS education in a progressive manner from middle school to high school. The instruction model includes a full learning circle, Lectures and TA Office hours where students can ask questions and receive feedback 1:1.
X-Camp has put together an impressive presentation for us. The talk will be given by Founder Dr. Charlie Guo and Yibo, 2018 USACO Finalist.
The topics include:
Intro to US Coding Competitions and Programming Challenges
Explore Private and Public School coding classes. Including insights on APCS (AP Computer Science), etc.
Curriculum Coverage, Camp model and class progression from Middle School to High School
