πŸ“… In the first half of the year, Austin's housing market showed some interesting trends. Home sales declined by 22.4% YoY, totaling 4,490 sales, while the median price dropped 10.7% to $545,000. The sales dollar volume also experienced a significant decrease, down by 27.1% to $3.18 billion.

πŸ“‰ New listings slightly decreased by 2.7% to 7,571, while active listings soared by an impressive 170.2%, reaching 2,243. However, pending sales dropped by 14.8%, resulting in 4,918 pending sales.

πŸ—“οΈ Looking closer at June 2023, home sales continued their decline, dropping by 10.6% YoY to 939 sales. The sales dollar volume followed suit, decreasing by 11.3% to $709 million, while the median price dropped 3.6% to $588,193.

πŸ“ˆ New listings experienced a more noticeable drop of 18.3%, amounting to 1,567 listings. In contrast, active listings showed a significant increase of 49.2%, reaching 2,872 listings. Interestingly, pending sales ticked up by 11.9%, with 923 sales recorded.
