"What does your Tuesday night at 7pm look like in this house?"

Not the dinner party you'll host once a year. Not the holidays. Not the Instagram moments. Tuesday. The normal, boring, nothing-special kind of night.

Because that's the life you're actually buying.

Are you cooking dinner or ordering takeout? Are the kids doing homework at the kitchen counter or in their rooms? Are you walking the dog around the neighborhood or driving to a park? Are you watching TV on the couch or reading on the porch?

The answers tell me more than any wishlist ever could.

When someone says they want a big backyard but their Tuesday night involves collapsing on the couch after work, that backyard might not matter as much as they think. The harder question is how you actually live. What your daily rhythm looks like. What makes a random weeknight feel good.
