Strawberry Banana Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 1/2 bananas
1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
3/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
fresh fruit and mint sprigs for garnish optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the apple juice, bananas, frozen strawberries and vanilla Greek yogurt in a blender.
Blend until completely smooth.
Pour into 2 glasses and serve, garnished with fruit and mint sprigs if desired.

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup milk, see notes
1 frozen banana, sliced into one inch pieces
1 ½ Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender or NutriBullet, (my tool of choice). Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve!
Notes
Soy milk, almond milk, and Coconut milk make great substitutions for regular milk when making smoothies.
If you don't have a frozen banana, add 3/4 cup of ice.

Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
▢3 bananas – large-sized
▢½ cup lite coconut milk – thin or medium consistency coconut milk or almond milk
▢¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon or ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
▢1 to 2 tablespoons nuts or toasted seeds, for garnish – optional
Instructions
Peel and chop the bananas. Add them in a blender.
Add ground cinnamon powder and lite coconut milk. You can even add vanilla extract instead of cinnamon powder.
Blend till smooth and to a fine consistency. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, add a splash of water or lite coconut milk. Blend again.
For more sweetness, consider adding 1 to 2 tablespoons of your preferred sweetener.
Pour banana smoothie in two glasses.
Sprinkle some toasted nuts and seeds. This is an optional step. But it will add some crunch to the smoothie and also make it more healthy and filling.
Serve banana smoothie straightaway.
