We are proud to announce that Lake Travis ISD has been named a TAEA District of Distinction for the 4th time! 🏆❤️🖤

This prestigious Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) Visual Arts Award recognizes districts across the state that demonstrate outstanding leadership, advocacy, and commitment to providing exceptional visual arts opportunities for students and communities.

Out of more than 1,200 eligible districts across Texas, only 109 districts earned this distinction for the 2025–2026 school year. Recipients were recognized for meeting a rigorous 14-point rubric highlighting excellence in visual arts education, including participation in TAEA, student exhibitions and competitions, community engagement, cross-curricular collaboration, and meaningful visual arts experiences at all grade levels.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication and creativity of our incredible visual arts educators, the passion of our students, and the continued support of our Lake Travis ISD community.
