Critical Mass is a monthly bike ride to celebrate bicycling in Austin, TX.
We try and keep a chill pace so everyone can keep up and ride in a mass. There is at least 1 rest stop and an ending planned later on the ride. Let’s ride around town and see what we can get into. Ideas encouraged.
Bring water and whatever snacks you may need. Store stop close to the rest stop.

REMINDER: The goal is to create a safe environment for all riders, but we cannot control, nor do we desire to, every rider’s behavior. We promote personal responsibility, and it is each rider’s responsibility to take care of themselves, and if they choose to ride with us, then they accept those risks inherent in riding a bicycle with a large group of other people riding bicycles.

Hear us out. Which location and time do you like best? Looking to change location and time beginning January 2026. But we need your input. The bridge with few amenities but great downtown and town lake views or ping pong table with neighborhood parking, bathrooms, food, drinks, grocery store nearby? Vote in our poll on Instagram until December 15th or like the photo of your choice on Facebook.
