Sold and got a great review! A stunning chalkware figurine of a beautiful young Victorian woman. This 1930s or early 40s vintage chalkware figure is handpainted. Her cloak and hat is a lovely blue and her dress is cream with pink flowers. Also details on her dress and crown are embedded with lace. This is has a natural matte finish and is heavy, feels solid. Chalkware was considered 'poor man's' plaster rather than quality porcelain, which was very popular during the depression years.
