Texas Water Foundation is proud to announce the official launch of , the first state-funded water awareness campaign created by the Texas Water Development Board. With funding awarded by the 88th Texas Legislature, the Texas Water Development Board has created the This Is Texas Water campaign focused on water infrastructure and making the invisible, visible. TWF’s Director of Communications Adeline Fox joined Texas Water Development Board's Executive Administrator Bryan McMath to preview the upcoming statewide water awareness campaign known as “This is Texas Water” during last week’s Texas Water Association Summer Conference.

TWF is the contracted entity managing the campaign on behalf of TWDB. Be on the lookout for social media ads, billboards, and the flagship anthem (commercial) as it launches this month. Learn more at www.thisistexaswater.org

A core part of TWF's work is convening. It allows us to convene on important policy topics like groundwater, water finance, and binational river issues. In addition to setting tables, we also come to other’s tables to provide briefings and presentations.

In just the past month, our staff spoke on national lessons from Prop 4 at River Network's River Rally, on water risk and corporate investment in water infrastructure at Tandem Global, on water governance at the University Of Texas Olli, and on the upcoming TWDB statewide awareness campaign at the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts' quarterly meeting.
