We install, repair, and service all manner of irrigation systems in the Texas Hill Country

Photos from Water CenTex's post 05/08/2025

Lake Travis is a monster sometimes. We recovered a failing lake pump and failed pvc mainline/casing, rappelling and cutting 6’ sections of pipe out so we could haul it off. Once I figured out jean jackets were in, we delivered and installed a 300’ run of 2” hdpe to replace the exposed pvc (can’t be buried, it’s practically on a cliff) so we could set our pump below the historical low on lake Travis. A few sparks later we had a custom stainless pump stand for our flow sleeve and intake in the water. A new pump was installed while we try to get the old one rebuilt. Last step was installing an automatic disc filter and we are ready to water. With the new LCRA restrictions it is critical having the proper irrigation equipment to keep your irrigation running and target crops happy. Not pictured: 15 raps, 8 dives, 3lbs of rod burned, two bandsaw blades, an ungodly amount of P Terry’s egg burgers, and 20 zones replaced by our super awesome friends at Rain Man irrigation.
