As we mark 250 years of our nation’s history under God's providential care, let's remember that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and among those gifts are the freedoms we enjoy: the freedom to gather, to open God's Word, and to worship Jesus Christ together.

We also remember that while we are citizens of this nation, our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, and our highest allegiance belongs to Christ, our King.
