To my amazing customers, friends, and supporters,

This is one of the hardest posts I've ever had to write.

Over the past several months, business has slowed more than I ever expected. Like many small business owners, I've been doing everything I can to keep Take It Easy Kitchen going, including taking on other jobs and projects to stay afloat.

In February, we renewed our permit and expected to be covered for the year. When the new Texas food truck permit fees take effect on July 1, we were told we'd be grandfathered in. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Even though we still have six months left on our current permit, we're now required to pay the new fees upfront—an expense I simply can't afford right now.

Because of this, Take It Easy Kitchen will be closed until further notice while I work to save enough to reopen.

Thank you for every order, recommendation, kind word, and all the support you've shown me. You've made this dream possible, and I'll always be grateful.

This isn't goodbye—it's just a pause. I fully intend to come back stronger, and I hope to be cooking for you again soon.
