We wish to express our gratitude to the Abolition Advocacy Project for their invaluable work on educating the students of Georgetown University Law School about the viability of a world without prisons and punishment as the all-in-all solution to our complex social problems.

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of this vision and accepting my writings in the Abolition Law and Review Journal 1.2, 2027.

Thank you to Mari Latibashvili, Freedom Gobel and Brittany Lovely for your outstanding leadership and planning.

Remembering someone gone too early is the duty of those who had the privilege to love them. Please join me in my continuing affection for Tomeka Hayes and all that she stood for in life, that now must be carried by us in her death.

Just as last year was ending, we, Da’Cipher 360 were beginning a new chapter. We decided to return, from out of the pages of our history, to yet, once again, exist to do right by the youth and their distressed mothers.

Da’Cipher 360 was born out of necessity and has returned for that same reason. The only difference between us then and us now is that in the past there was only one Brother Rob, and now there are more men who understand our community’s plight and have a desire to weigh in on this mission.

We don’t need everything to take the first step, we are alive and we have a will and that is enough!
